Creating Tacsco

The Making of the Company

Trinity Arts & Crafts Supply Co. (TACSCo) is a paper, paint and needlecraft retail art supplier that caters to a variety of artists throughout Trinity County and the surrounding region. TACSCo opened its doors in January of 2021 and is owned and operated by Michelle (Loegering) Myers (right). We focus on supplying our customers with paper, stamps, inks, paints (acrylic, watercolor, oils, pastels...), art tools, and other artistic supplies. Samples of various artworks are displayed throughout the store, with the necessary tools available for purchase in making these types of works. We provide embossing, die cut, and cricut cutting services, and can assist our customers in making any online purchase for items not sold in store.

We also offer demonstration and "make and take" classes held in the shop next door during non-store hours with after-hours shopping. More information on those can be found here.

Updating Moon Lee Honeymoon Home

This is the Moon and Dorothy Lee Honeymoon house. It was originally built for the Mr. Lee prior to his wedding to Dorothy back in 1932. Mr. Lee was a prominent figure not only in Trinity County but also in California history for many reasons. His family were some of the last original Chinese immigrant families to have come to California to join the gold miners back in the early/mid 1800s.

We have recorded history on the house itself, Mr. Lee and his family and we can document all occupants that have resided in this house. The last tenant was here for 25 years and conducted a very successful delicatessen. We are prowd to be only the second family outside the Lees to have owned it. It is being “renewed” and is now home of Trinity Arts & Crafts Supply Company.

Trinity Arts & Crafts Supply Co., located in Weaverville, CA is owned and operated by Michelle Myers (and supported by Mr. Tommy Myers). We focus on paint, paper and needlecraft art supplies. Weaverville CA is not only the County seat of Trinity County but it hosts many art galleries which include all types of art.

Our intension is to provide high quality and value-added art materials and supplies for our local art community as well as those traveling through, to and from our beautiful area.
